So, as you all may remember, a few months back, I was asking for a bit of help with money to move NinoSatori, Growliez, and AbeSedecim in with myself and Trissy (one of my littles who already lived with me). I received a grand total of $0 for this (though I think I remember Nino receiving a small amount). As a result, I had to completely empty out my savings account ($1500+) in order to get everyone safely moved over and buy the necessary furniture (thank god for Goodwill) for us to have a place to live. I had built up this savings account specifically so that if I had a bad month, I'd be able to cover it. Well, as it turns out, I had a bad month or so in which depression was kicking my butt hard enough to get me way far behind on my work. I'm obviously back to work as usual (I've been streaming daily on a schedule to make sure of it), but as a result of this, I've gotten way behind on finances. Whereas before I had enough money to pretty cleanly pay bills ahead of time, I'm lately down to the wire and worried about missing my rent payment as well as the credit card bills that got way worse as a result of all of this.
I've been trying to avoid having to do this for months (we moved in in December and I've been making all my payments despite this since then), but I think I need to ask for a bit of help. I don't know if I'll get any, and I definitely don't blame you for not wanting to just give me money, so let me give you an overview of how you can help without just giving me money for nothing.

We didn't want to post this until we'd gotten some actual writing done and could be sure, but... Hey, all. I know it's been forever. If you're still here, thanks for sticking with us. Personal stuff (you can skip to the next paragraph if you don't care about this): The last couple years (or, honestly, even the last six months) have been a lot. Dealing with disability and chronic illness - including finally accepting the fact that we're disabled - finding out that we're autistic, finally figuring out why our brain works the way that it does, processing a lot of related stuff, dealing with long term post-COVID complications despite doing our best to avoid getting it, etc. Fortunately, we've got some meds that have been helping with the physical health stuff, we've started working out what helps with the other physical health stuff, we've started figuring out how our brain works and how to deal with sensory and stimulation needs, and we've finally accepted some basic facts about how we work that we've been kinda avoiding forever. (IMPORTANT) New Year's Resolution
This is a bit of a hard journal to write. As the new year approaches and I find anxiety looming, I feel the need to post something. We've been struggling to get work done for a while. That's not really news. Well, it shouldn't be news. In short: it's been a very, very long time since we've been able to get consistent work done. Period. And I don't want to keep leading people on. Not everyone here knows this, but we're disabled and working most any job is practically impossible. I'm not looking for advice here, to be clear; this is something we've been coming to terms with for quite some time and we've tried a hell of a lot. There's a chance that we could possibly return to some sort of work eventually, but it'll certainly require short hours and accommodation. It's been really hard to come to terms with this, but anyone who's commissioned us can tell you for sure: we have a really dang hard time getting any consistent work done. A bit of an update
Hey, everyone. We haven't posted much here in quite some time so I wanted to give everyone an update on our current situation. Long story short, we've been dealing with a lot of medical issues that we haven't been able to resolve. A bit over a month ago, we ended up in the ER for chest pain and various other symptoms that had been going on for a while but suddenly worsened. Fortunately, after tests, the doctor said that it didn't seem to be a heart problem, but we didn't really get a diagnosis. We did visit a clinic but they weren't very helpful and didn't seem to care to listen beyond throwing a few prescriptions at us after asking two or three basic questions without even wanting to hear the rest. At the same time, a broken tooth has been giving us severe tooth pain and we've been unable to afford to go to the dentist. All this accompanied with an acid reflux and asthma flare-up due to the weather has basically left us unable to concentrate on anything - we've been trying to run D&D
